About 200 students in grades 5-8 recently took part in a day of hands-on science, technology, engineering, arts/agriculture, and science activities at the Milwaukee Urban League’s first-ever Junior STEAM Summit. The event, which was sponsored by Johnson Controls, featured some of Milwaukee’s largest companies and higher education institutions.
