Schaefer joins Catholic Charities board

Rene Schaefer, principal of SVA Certified Public Accountants, S.C. was recently appointed to Catholic Charities’ board of trustees.
Catholic Charities wanted to add a member with a strong financial background. Being in the accounting field for over 20 years gave Schaefer the necessary financial qualifications and experience to complement existing board members, the organization said.
“Being appointed to the board of trustees for Catholic Charities is truly an honor,” Schaefer said.  “My goal has always been to give back to the communities where I live and work.  My focus is to make a difference in the lives of people who need it most.  Being involvement with Catholic Charities gives me that opportunity.”
Catholic Charities provides human services throughout 10 counties throughout southeastern Wisconsin in three main ministry areas: Adult Care Ministries, Family and Children’s Ministries and Social Justice Ministries.
