Sato named CEO of Children’s Specialty Group

    Dr. Thomas T. Sato has been named chief executive officer of Children’s Specialty Group, the pediatric group practice of the Medical College of Wisconsin and Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin.

     
    CSG, the largest pediatric group practice in Wisconsin, represents more than 500 physicians and providers in approximately 34 specialties who practice at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin and outreach clinics throughout Wisconsin, and is comprised of approximately one third of the clinical faculty of MCW.

    Dr. Sato has also been appointed senior associate dean for clinical affairs – pediatric practice at MCW. Since joining the MCW faculty in 1997, Dr. Sato has held a significant number of committee positions within CSG, as well as educational and administrative leadership positions at MCW.

    Dr. Sato is currently the program director of pediatric surgery, and the co-chair of the medical economics and outcomes committee at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. Since 2004, Dr. Sato has been listed in Best Doctors in America, and since 2011 as a Top Doctor in US News & World Report.

    Dr. Sato will assume his new role within CSG on Feb. 17.
