Sarah O. Zimmerman

The Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design (MIAD) has named Sarah Zimmerman to its Board of Trustees.

Zimmerman, of Milwaukee, serves as president of Astor Street Foundation, a family foundation that makes grants in the Milwaukee area and nationally. She also has served on the boards of organizations including the Bradley Family Foundation, which operates Lynden Sculpture Garden; University School of Milwaukee; the Bradley Center Sports & Entertainment Corporation; the Gardner Foundation and 88Nine Radio Milwaukee. Zimmerman also serves on the Advisory Board at Marquette Law School, where she has taught frequently as an adjunct professor. She earned her J.D. at Yale Law School and practiced general and appellate litigation at the San Francisco firm Rosen, Bien, Galvan & Grunfeld.
