Sam Dickman Jr. named president of The Dickman Company

Sam Dickman Jr. has been named the president of The Dickman Company, a Milwaukee-based commercial real estate brokerage.
Dickman, 40, has been a vice president and shareholder of the company since it was founded in 1996.
Dickman’s father, Sam Dickman Sr., 69, was the previous president. He will now serve as chairman of the board for the company. He has 45 years of experience working in the commercial real estate business in Milwaukee.
Despite the new titles, their roles with the company will not change, Sam Dickman Jr. said.
“(Sam Dickman Sr. is) going to be as active as ever and he’s continuing to work,” said Sam Dickman Jr. “I’m glad, because his knowledge and experience is invaluable to the firm.”
Sam Dickman Jr. said his promotion and his father’s new title is part of a succession planning process for the company.
“It helps ensure the longevity of the company by putting me in place to be president,” he said. “It just adds to the continuity of the firm going forward.”
