The first night of the Republican Party’s state convention next month in Milwaukee will feature U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Janesville) and Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty as the headliners for the chairman’s reception. The reception will be held at the Harley-Davidson Museum in Milwaukee May 21. The speakers for a celebration honoring county chairs the next night will be announced within the next few weeks, according to the RPW.
Pawlenty spoke to the state GOP convention in 2008.
