What has fueled your company’s growth?
“We are in the business of creating success for our customers. Our team understands that each and every project, no matter how small or large, is an opportunity to partner with our clients. While we don’t sell any of our own products, our involvement with customers can help them sell more of their products and help them grow their business.Visitors to our manufacturing sites quickly realize that we are different than our competitors. Our team-based approach ensures that all levels of management and expertise are involved and engaged at every stage of the project to ensure optimal results.”
What is the biggest obstacle to your company’s growth?
“As a contract manufacturer, we have a commitment to our customers to have available capacity to produce their product in a timely fashion. We know that forecasts can quickly change and we need to be flexible. It is essential that we reinvest in personnel, equipment and facilities to ensure that we can respond to new and existing customer needs. For the past five years, we have been improving our systems, processes and personnel so that we are ready and capable to expand with your company’s growth.”
Do you plan to make any changes to your company?
“We are constantly evolving and changing as we grow and adapt to new technology. In the coming months we are developing plans for expansion in the U.S. and China, adding additional equipment, hiring new staff and ramping up for future production requirements.”
Who are the business people you admire?
“I believe that there is something to learn from everyone. More than any famous author or leader, I admire my customers. Many of them have put everything on the line to build a business or develop a new product. When our customers succeed, RSP succeeds, and that is incredibly rewarding.”
What is the outlook for your industry?
“There are new and exciting products being developed every day so there are always new opportunities in our industry. Globalization and slowdowns in some areas of manufacturing have increased competition and put pressure on margins. RSP has responded by improving efficiencies and increasing automation.”
What is your company’s most important growth strategy?
“I strongly believe that our positioning as a manufacturing partner is not just a slogan, but a tried and true business model. Our customer teams are able to seamlessly integrate with our customers on projects, saving time, costs and hassles. I have customers who develop new products or revise existing products months or even years ahead of schedule because of the expertise and speed to market we offer.”
