Rogers Behavioral Health now treating patients in Nashville

Oconomowoc-based Rogers Behavioral Health System is furthering its reach with its new obsessive-compulsive disorder and anxiety treatment centers in Nashville and Chicago. The Nashville location opened in May, and the Chicago one is scheduled to open July 20, according to Sarah Meekma, marketing communications lead at Rogers Memorial Hospital.

The new Nashville facility initially offered a partial hospitalization program for adults, adolescents and children diagnosed with OCD and anxiety. It consists of a treatment plan that is six hours a day, five days per week. Since its opening, however, the facility has expanded to include an intensive outpatient program for those with less severe symptoms. This program consists of a treatment plan that is three hours a day, four days per week. Each program will be able accommodate eight patients, for a total of 32. The usual length of participation for both of these programs is four to six weeks.

The Chicago location will offer the same two approaches to OCD and anxiety treatment.

“We are very excited to be expanding our specialized programs into the Nashville community, and we are looking forward to complementing the wide variety of psychiatric care already available,” said Dr. Stephanie Eken, Rogers’ regional medical director for partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs.

Rogers also plans to open an adolescent eating disorders treatment program at the Nashville facility in the next several months.

Rogers opened its first center outside of Wisconsin in Tampa, Fla., in September. It also currently treats behavioral health patients in Oconomowoc, Brown Deer, West Allis, Kenosha and Madison. Additionally, Rogers plans to open a specialized regional treatment center in Appleton in the fall.
