Rishi Tea

A groundbreaking ceremony was held recently to celebrate the start of construction of a new 50,000-square-foot industrial facility at 185 S. 33rd Ct. in the Menomonee Valley in Milwaukee for Rishi Tea. The company, founded in 1997, has been located in the former Louis Allis building at 427 E. Stewart St. for more than eight years. Rishi Tea originally leased about 13,000 square feet of space there and now has about 38,000 square feet of space in the building, but needed more room to expand and will move its operations to the new building in the Menomonee Valley, which is expected to be complete in mid-August. It will be built on a 3.8-acre site north of the J.F. Ahern Co. building.
