Rexnord’s Adams leaving Generac board in May

Todd Adams will step down from the board of directors of Waukesha-based Generac Holdings Inc. in May, according to a securities filing by the company.

Adams is currently president and chief executive officer of Milwaukee-based Rexnord Corp. He recently signed an employment letter with the company giving him a new three-year contract for his position.

Adams has been on the Generac board since 2013 and also serves on the board of Brown Deer-based Badger Meter Inc.

His resignation from the Generac board was not due to  any disagreements with the company, the filing said.

Generac did not immediately name a replacement for the board position.

A native of southeastern Wisconsin, he is also a nationally certified gymnastics judge and enjoys golf on the weekends.
