Milwaukee-based Rexnord Corp. plans to expand the offerings of Zurn with the acquisition of Burlington, Ontario-based Hadrian Inc., a provider of washroom partitions and lockers. The company said the deal would give Zurn the ability to offer a complete washroom solution and accelerate its strategy of being a leading provider of smart building solutions. Zurn already offers touchless plumbing fixture systems, hand dryers and other smart products. Terms of the deal, which is expected to close by the end of December, were not disclosed. “We are pleased to welcome Hadrian into Rexnord’s Water Management platform,” said Craig Wehr, group president of Zurn. “With their passion for serving customers, market leading products and innovative technology, Hadrian brings a highly complementary culture and can build on Zurn’s substantial competitive advantages to expand our combined growth opportunities.” Founded in 1983, Hadrian is based in Canada and has four facilities across North America.
