Rexnord adds water management exec

Matthew Stillings to be group executive, president

Rexnord Corp. has hired Matthew Stillings to serve as group executive and president of its water management platform, the Milwaukee-based manufacturer announced Monday.

Stillings joins the company from Illinois-based IDEX Corp. where he most recently was senior vice president and group executive responsible for pumping and valve technologies and IDEX China.

“Matt is a proven group executive with extensive leadership and international experience,” said Todd Adams, Rexnord president and chief executive officer. “I’m confident he will continue to enhance the overall strategy and performance of our Water Platform. He will be a great addition to our senior executive team as we continue to build the talent to scale the business for the future.”

Rexnord’s business is made up of two platforms, process and motion control and water management. The water management platform accounted for 43 percent of the company’s $1.9 billion in revenue during its most recent fiscal year.

Arthur covers banking and finance and the economy at BizTimes while also leading special projects as an associate editor. He also spent five years covering manufacturing at BizTimes. He previously was managing editor at The Waukesha Freeman. He is a graduate of Carroll University and did graduate coursework at Marquette. A native of southeastern Wisconsin, he is also a nationally certified gymnastics judge and enjoys golf on the weekends.
