Westbury Bancorp, Inc., based in West Bend, has named Greg Remus president of the company and its subsidiary, Westbury Bank.
Remus, whose appointment is effective Jan. 1, will remain chief operating officer of the company and bank and will also continue to serve as vice president of lending of the bank.
He is taking over the role of president for Ray Lipman, who is stepping down from that position. Lipman will remain chief executive officer and chairman of the board for the company and bank.
“Greg’s leadership is, and will continue to be, key to the company’s strategic growth and improvement in its overall financial performance,” Lipman said in an announcement. “Greg and I will continue to work closely on long-term strategic matters, investor relations and capital management plans.”
Remus has more than 20 years of experience in the financial sector and completed his degree in mathematics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
“I am excited for the opportunity to continue our management team’s focus on our commitment to transform Westbury Bank into a high-performing bank,” Remus said.
