Elm Grove-based Reinders Inc., a landscaping supplies distributor, recently entered into a long-term lease for a 129,970-square-foot building at W277 N6225 Sussex Road, Sussex. The building is owned by Sussex Partners LLC, an investment group that recently purchased the building from PolyOne Corp. for $2.625 million, or about $20.20 per square foot.
Jeff Hoffman and Don Schmidt of Judson & Associates represented PolyOne in brokering the sale of the building.
Reinders will move its headquarters to the building from its current location at 13400 Watertown Plank Road in Elm Grove and consolidate its operations from three other locations into the Sussex facility, Hoffman said.
The company was established in Elm Grove in 1866. Reinders will maintain a presence in Elm Grove, said Craig Reinders, president of Reinders Inc.
The Sussex building will be used primarily for warehousing and distribution, Hoffman said.
PolyOne is an Avon Lake, Ohio-based plastic compounder and resins distributor, which closed the Sussex plant two years ago.
