Redevelopment projects planned in downtown Port Washington

A pair of redevelopment projects are planned in downtown Port Washington.

Franklin Street Holdings plans to restore the three-story Boerner Mercantile Building at 211 N. Franklin St. The building will have 8,000 square feet of first floor retail space, 8,000 square feet of office space on the second floor, 8,000 square feet of office space on the third floor and a 5,000-square-foot leasable basement level space.

Renew Port Holdings LLC plans to redevelopment and expand a pair of buildings at 122-28 N. Franklin St. A third floor will be added to the two-story buildings and a three-story addition will be added on the east side. There will be about 10,000 square feet of commercial space on the first floor and 18 residential units, possibly condos, on the upper floors.
