Address: 1000 N. Water St., Suite 950 Milwaukee, WI 53202

    Website: www.redarrowsoftware.com

    Year founded: 2009

Product or service offered: Develops enterprise-class, commercial-quality, custom software applications

    Projected 2012 revenue: $3 million

Leadership: Mark Grosskopf, president and chief executive officer

Target clientele: “We develop software for a wide variety of companies, large and small, across industries and business functions. What our clients have in common are ideas for software that will improve their business, save time, open new markets or increase customer interaction to name a few. We also help startups create prototypes of software applications and established companies commercialize software product ideas to sell.”

Business organization memberships: Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce, Society for Information Management

What has fueled your company’s growth? “Companies both locally and nationwide are investing in developing custom software. For example, we have seen a strong demand for mobile applications in every aspect of business operations – sales, manufacturing, operations and marketing – as organizations incorporate new technology into their processes and interactions with customers.”

What is the biggest obstacle to your company’s growth? “It’s always hard to find the right people to continue to build the organization – we combine the technical and creative skills required to build software with the business sense to understand what our customers are trying to accomplish and a culture of collaboration and teamwork.”

Do you plan any changes in your company in the upcoming months? What is the outlook for the business conditions of your industry over the next several months? “Although economic times are challenging, businesses are investing to make processes more efficient and to create new ways of interacting with customers. We haven’t seen any sign that this is changing.”

What is your company’s key strategy for rising out of the recession? “Staying in our niche – building innovative applications that look good and are intuitive to use and that also integrate into a company’s existing technology infrastructure.”
