What are you working on? "Transactions representing landlords and tenants – the majority are specific to retail businesses."

How does the market look to you? "Milwaukee is going through an exciting time with opportunity abound. Retail is growing strong in both urban areas as well as the suburbs.  It will be particularly interesting to see what the future holds for downtown Milwaukee.  We have a blank canvas with worlds of possibilities and I am hopeful everyone will align for a shared vision that will put Milwaukee on the map."

What was the best deal you’ve ever been involved in? "I worked with a group a few years ago who owned sushi restaurants in New York and heard Milwaukee was a good place to open one. My primary contact spoke little English, making the transaction incredibly difficult. I learned a great deal about communication during this transaction, especially non-verbal."
