Barrett responds to 27th Street ramp closure criticism
Several business owners on South 27th Street are upset about the state Department of Transportation’s plan to close some of the freeway ramps. In a recent Milwaukee Biz Blog Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett responds to criticism by some that his administration is not trying hard enough to keep the ramps open. Barrett said having the Mitchell Interchange rebuilt safely and without destruction of any nearby homes is the highest priority. As reported previous by Real Estate Weekly, the owner of the Braeger Chevrolet dealership on South 27th Street is planning to move out of Milwaukee because of the ramp closure.

Inland Companies to manage Wells Fargo Bank building
Milwaukee-based Inland Companies Inc. announced that they have recently been awarded the property management contract for the 229,627-square-foot Wells Fargo Bank Building located at 11200 W. Parkland Avenue in Milwaukee. Peggy Attwood from Inland will be the property manager for the building.

Germantown to enforce commercial building codes
The state Department of Commerce recently delegated the Village of Germantown the authority to conduct plan review for alterations and inspections of all commercial buildings located within the municipality.
