Metro Market store opens in Brookfield
Milwaukee-based Roundy’s Supermarkets Inc. recently opened its new Metro Market grocery store in the Brownstones shopping center at 17630 Bluemound Road, Brookfield. Roundy remodeled and expanded an old Pick ‘n Save store at the location to create the Metro Market store. Roundy’s added 10,000 square feet of space, to create a 64,503-square-foot store. Metro Market is an upscale grocery store. The only other Metro Market location is in downtown Milwaukee.
Concordia opens new West Milwaukee campus
Concordia University Wisconsin opened its new West Milwaukee campus at 1670 Miller Park Way for classes on Monday. The university consolidated its campuses on the south side of Milwaukee and in Hales Corners at the new West Milwaukee site. “It is important for us to be able to maintain our presence near Milwaukee’s south side and to serve our rapidly growing student population in the area,” said Dr. Michael Besch, vice president of academic operations for Concordia.
AmeriSign hosts ribbon cutting
AmeriSign & Graphics on Thursday will host a grand opening and ribbon cutting celebration at its newest location at 115 W. Wisconsin Ave., Pewaukee. AmeriSign & Graphics is a full-service sign, graphic design, and commercial printing company. The company also has a location at 6657 Sidney Place, Glendale.
