Milwaukee area retail space vacancy rate at 13.0 percent
The metro Milwaukee area’s retail real estate market has a vacancy rate of 13.0 percent, according to Cassidy Turley‘s latest report. The average asking rent for retail space in the Milwaukee area is $15.05 per square foot, according to Cassidy Turley. Nationally, ret demand for retail space has been trending up for the last year, reports Cassidy Turley, whose local affiliate is Cassidy Turley Barry.
Bassett Mechanical opens new Milwaukee area office
Kaukauna-based Bassett Mechanical recently opened its new Milwaukee area office at W165 N5755 Ridgewood Dr., Menomonee Falls. The 4,350-square-foot facility is double the size of the company’s previous Milwaukee area office. “The new Milwaukee facility demonstrates our commitment to growth and will help us maintain a strong presence to readily serve customers in the metro Milwaukee market,” said Chris Erickson, general manager of Bassett Mechanical’s Milwaukee office.
