WCREW to host annual Showcase Awards
Wisconsin Commercial Real Estate Women (WCREW) will hold its annual Showcase Awards event on Thursday, Oct. 18, from 5-8:30 p.m. at Discovery World, 500 N.

Shops of Grand Avenue seeks pop-up holiday vendors
The Shops of Grand Avenue is looking to lease in-line space to unique vendors for the holiday season as part of its pop-up leasing program. Rents start at $150 per month for boutique retailers. The spaces are available on the second level of the New Arcade Building at the urban mall, 275 W. Wisconsin Ave. The mall has five spaces available for lease, from 160 to 1,730 square feet. A meeting will be held on Monday, Aug. 20, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. for vendors interested in renting the available spaces. Applications will be available on site. License agreements will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The program is a joint effort between The Shops of Grand Avenue and the Greater Milwaukee Committee’s MiKE initiative.

WMEP opens Milwaukee office in CityCenter at 735
The Madison-based Wisconsin Manufacturing Extension Partnership (WMEP) has opened a Milwaukee office at The CityCenter at 735, 735 N. Water St., Milwaukee. Also, construction began recently on a Tazinos restaurant in the building.
