Kenosha Meijer plans approved
The Kenosha Common Council this week approved plans for a 192,940-square-foot Meijer store to be built at 7701 Green Bay Road. The store is one of several that Grand Rapids, Mich.-based Meijer plans to build in southeastern Wisconsin. Other stores are planned in Wauwatosa, Sussex, Grafton and Oak Creek.

Northwestern Mutual exec buys Kilbourn Tower condo
Todd Schoon, executive vice president-agencies for Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Co., and a member of the firm’s management committee, and his wife, Jennifer, recently purchased a condo in the Kilbourn Tower, located at 923 E. Kilbourn Ave., Milwaukee, from Shiv and Roopa Bhupathi for $650,000, according to state records. The Schoon’s address is listed at 9400 Valley Hill Road in River Hills.
