Groundbreaking ceremony held for Mequon Outpost store
Outpost Natural Foods Cooperative held a groundbreaking ceremony Tuesday to celebrate the start of construction of its fourth grocery store, which will be located at 7590 W. Mequon Road in Mequon. The $6.3 million project is expected to be complete in late spring of 2014. The store will have 80 employees.

Kohl’s exec buys Oconomowoc Lake home for $3.4 million
Michelle Gass, who earlier this year was named chief customer officer of Menomonee Falls-based Kohl’s Corp., and her husdand, Scott, recently purchased a home at 4138 W. Beach Road in the village of Oconomowoc Lake for $3.4 million, according to state records. Prior to joining Kohl’s, Michelle Gass was an executive with Starbucks Corp.

Epic buys more land
Verona-based Epic Systems Corp., one of the fastest-growing companies in Wisconsin, recently purchased more land near its corporate headquarters. The firm recently purchased 23 acres on Meister Drive for $8 million from Heinrichs Development Group, according to state records.
