Music venue, recording studio planned in Grafton
Grafton-based K-Nation Entertainment LLC, a company founded by Kapco Inc. president Jim Kacmarcik that finds and promotes bands and musicians, plans to create a performance venue and a recording studio at 995 Badger Circle, Grafton. The performance venue would host live performances for crowds of less than 100 people. The facility would also have a recording studio and would be used for K-Nation’s sound and lighting rental business and for its booking agency.
OnMilwaukee.com opens new office

Serbian restaurant owner to buy building
The owner of Old Town Serbian Gourmet Restaurant, Natalia Radicevich, plans to purchase and renovate the restaurant’s building located at 522-24 W. Lincoln Ave., Milwaukee.
Brownfield grants awarded for Innovation Campus
The UWM Real Estate Foundation, Inc. will receive a $205,850 Brownfield Program award from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) to assist in the environmental remediation at the site of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee’s new Innovation Campus in Wauwatosa. The grant will reimburse UWM Real Estate Foundation for contamination soil management, environmental monitoring and infrastructure improvements.
