Grand opening for The Edge, new web site for Bronzeville

A grand opening party for The Edge condominium development will be held from 5:30-8 p.m. The 6-story, 77-unit condo development is located at 1902 N. Commerce St. in downtown Milwaukee. The developers for the project at Chicago-based Tandem Developers LLC and Milwaukee-based Brewery Works Inc.

City of Milwaukee officials on Tuesday unveiled a new web site for the Bronzeville Cultural and Entertainment District.

Germantown-based Suburban Construction Inc. received the Outstanding Building Award from Oklahoma City-based Star Building Systems. Star Building systems manufactures custom metal buildings.

At the recent Wisconsin Realtors Association Government Day in Madison, Gov. Jim Doyle signed a bill into law that enhances protections for homeowners when the seller intentionally misrepresents the condition of the property in the real estate condition report.
