Michael Best forms distressed real estate team
Milwaukee-based Michael Best & Friedrich LLP recently created a "distressed real estate group." The team of 26 lawyers will help clients withstand the struggling real estate market, and to help them take advantages of opportunities presented in the down market. The distressed real estate group includes attorneys from the firm’s bankruptcy, real estate, land use, transactional finance and litigation practice areas.
Milwaukee-based New Land Enterprises LLP will unveil its newest project, The Transera, at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, at Design Within Reach, 167 N. Broadway. The Transera is the 26-story, 35-unit condo tower that New Land plans to build adjacent to the historic Goll Mansion at 1550 N. Prospect Ave. on Milwaukee’s east side. The grand opening event for the development will include a presentation of the design, floor plans, amenities and pricing for the project, followed by a tour of the newly completed model at New Land’s Terrace Row development.
