Real estate odds and ends

Milwaukee-based Siegel-Gallagher, a commercial real estate firm offering brokerage, property management and construction services, recently unveiled a new logo image. "Updating our image has been a goal over the past year or so and now it’s finally coming to fruition," said president and CEO Patrick Gallagher. "In doing so, we’re making a promise to everyone in our reach that we’re dedicated to the region and all of our current ventures. Siegel-Gallagher wants to be on the forefront of commercial real estate services and our new look is a better representation of that objective."

Milwaukee-based Cook & Franke S.C. will hold the first in a quarterly series of seminars designed for the construction industry on Friday, Oct. 24, at the Sheraton Hotel, 375 S. Moorland Road, Brookfield, from 3-5 p.m. There will be two presentations at each of the Construction Academy programs. In October, Attorney Dave McClurg will discuss how tough economic times can cause difficult employment issues for contractors. In addition, Attorney Bill Jennaro will discuss the benefits of alternative dispute resolution. The follow-up program will be held on Dec. 8, also at the Sheraton Hotel in Brookfield. That program will include presentations on understanding insurance contracts and year-end tax issues affecting contractors. There is no charge to contractors interested in attending the Construction Academy. For more information or to register, contact Katie Tetzlaff at (414) 227-1252 or tetzlaff@cf-law.com.
