The 2015 BizExpo, which will be held on Wednesday, May 20 at the Potawatomi Hotel & Casino Expo Center, will include a Real Estate Forum.
The Real Estate Forum will begin with a panel discussion on downtown Milwaukee development projects. Gary Grunau, president of Grucon Group and developer of Schlitz Park; Mandel Group partner and chief operating officer Robert Monnat; and NEWaukee founder Ian Abston will participate in the panel discussion, which will be moderated by BizTimes Milwaukee managing editor Andrew Weiland. Topics discussed will include plans for a new downtown arena, major development activity at the lakefront, the downtown apartment boom, and the uncertain future of the Shops of Grand Avenue.
Their discussion will be followed at 3:30 p.m. by a reception featuring members of the Commercial Association of Realtors Wisconsin (CARW), who will showcase some of their projects on easels to prospective tenants.
