Hartford shopping center sold for $5.15 million
Chicago-based Rothschild Investment Corp. recently purchased the 61,900-square-foot Hilldale Plaza shopping center in Hartford from Franklin-based Outlook Development Group for $5.15 million, according to state records. The shopping center, located at the northeast corner of Highway 60 and Lone Oak Lane, is anchored by a Reuben’s Country Market store. Other tenants include: Kai Chen Restaurant, Hillside Liquor and Sal’s Pizza.

Merrill Hills Country Club sold to The Legend owners for $3 million
The Legend Clubs, owned by Jack Gaudion and Risa Kuhlman, the owners of The Legend at Brandybrook in Wales and The Legend at Bristlecone in Hartland, have purchased Merrill Hills Country Club in Waukesha for $3 million, according to state records. The sale was recorded Wednesday, June 19. Merrill Hills Country Club, located at W270 S3425 Merrill Hills Road in Waukesha, has been re-named The Legend at Merrill Hills. The 206-acre property includes a golf course, swimming pools, tennis courts and catering and banquet facilities. The Legend at Brandybrook and The Legend at Bristlecone are private clubs and Merrill Hills will remain a private club.

Chenequa home sold for $3 million
A six-bedroom home on Pine Lake at 31933 County Road K in Chenequa sold recently for $3 million, according to state records. Martin Stock of Wilmette, Ill. bought the home from Paradise Valley, Ariz.-based The Starwater Group LLC.

Waukesha flex building sold for $1.4 million
Koenigs Investments LLC, owned by Koenigs ProSource Inc. owner Tim Koenigs, recently purchased a 40,250-square-foot industrial building at 1416 Poplar Dr., Waukesha, for $1.4 million, according to state records. Jeff Hoffman of Judson & Assocites represented Koenigs in brokering the deal. The property was purchased as an investment, Koenigs said. The building is 100 percent leased to several tenants. The property is located on the southwest side of Waukesha, which has seen improvement in recent years including the Shoppes at Fox River retail development, he said. The planned west Waukesha bypass, if built, will also add value to the property, Koenigs said. “It’s a good location,” he said. “When the bypass gets built it will be an even better location.” Koenigs ProSource will remain at 1825 Dolphin Dr., Waukesha.

Payne & Dolan buys Vulcan’s quarry near Oconomowoc
Waukesha-based Payne & Dolan Inc., an asphalt production and construction services firm, recently purchased the 285-acre quarry at W340 S1523 County Road C, in the Town of Ottawa, near Oconomowoc, from Birmingham, Ala.-based Vulcan Materials Company, the nation’s largest producer of construction aggregate. The sale price for the property was $1.29 million, according to state records.
