Zilber completes sale of another Pabst building
BC Pabst Holdings recently closed on its purchase of the former research lab building at the former Pabst brewery from Zilber Ltd. founder Joseph Zilber, who is redeveloping the former brewery complex into a mixed-use urban neighborhood.
The 28,000-square-foot, three story building was built in 1913 and was used by the Pabst Brewing Company for research, quality control and laboratory analysis.
Terms of the sale were not disclosed.
The principals of BC Pabst Holdings are Sonny Bando, Matt Chmura and former Green Bay Packer Mark Chmura.
"Serious negotiations are underway with a tenant who would lease most, if not all of the building," the principals said in a statement. "BC Pabst is also in discussions with Mr. Zilber and his representatives to expand our holdings in The Brewery Project."
Construction work on the interior and the exterior of the building began on Monday.
"I am impressed with these young men and their ability and willingness to create space that enhances The Brewery’s rich, historic heritage, while providing their tenants with space that meets and exceeds their specifications," Zilber said.
