Quest CE, Hunger Task Force take first in social media contest

After a two-week social media battle among Future 50 winning companies, Milwaukee-based Quest CE captured the most votes and earned the title of the “Most Social Company.”

The “Future 50 Most Social Company” contest, facilitated by BizTimes Media on Facebook, challenged participating companies to garner the most public votes for the benefit of one area nonprofit organization.

In its second year, the “Most Social Company” contest was part of the 2014 Future 50 Program, which recognized 50 regional companies experiencing rapid growth in revenue and employment numbers.

Through the social media competition, the Future 50 company that tallied the most votes was able to select an organization to receive a prize package from BizTimes Media.

Quest CE, which provides compliance training and continuing education to financial services clients, designated Hunger Task Force as its winning partner. The organization, which distributes food to area food pantries, shelters and soup kitchens free of charge, is receiving a prize package valued at more than $10,000, including both a cash award and an advertising arrangement.

Quest CE and Hunger Task Force were recognized at BizTimes Media’s Future 50 Cocktail Reception held Wednesday at SURG on the Water.

This year’s social media challenge pitted 24 companies against one another.
