The Milwaukee-based law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP has opened an office in Tampa, Fla. and has added six new partners to the firm.
"Quarles & Brady has been active in the Naples, Florida market since 1982 and we have been eager to expand our services to central Florida," said John Daniels Jr., chairman of Quarles & Brady. "The Tampa presence will bring additional legal skills to our clients and businesses not only in Florida, but nationally."
Kimberly Johnson, partner at the Naples location of Quarles & Brady will serve as the managing partner of the new firm.
Attorneys joining the firm include corporate franchise attorney David Beyer, commercial bankruptcy attorney Phillip Martino, and commercial litigators Christian Burden, Kelli Edson, Bill Hamilton and Paul Parrish.
In addition to the six partners, the office will also be staffed with three to four associates, paralegals and administrative staff.
“We are excited to have a presence in the Tampa area," said Johnson. “The local team will bring additional resources, accessibility and value to our clients through the expansion of our services to other markets in the state.”
The new office is located in the Bank of America Plaza, in downtown Tampa.
