Quality Health Solutions changes name

Brookfield-based Quality Health Solutions Inc., a consortium of independent health care systems, hospitals and physicians spanning northern, central and eastern Wisconsin, has changed its name to Integrated Health Network of Wisconsin.

“The new name better reflects the scale and uniqueness of our organization, which is one of the broadest clinically integrated accountable care alliances in the nation,” said Peter Pruessing, chief executive officer of Integrated Health Network. “Under a single signature, we can contract to cost-effectively serve patients in 34 counties using a network of more than 4,500 physicians, 450 clinics and 34 hospitals.”

Clinical integration enables Integrated Health Network to contract directly with health plans on behalf of its members and affiliated providers. Members currently include Agnesian Healthcare, Columbia St. Mary’s, Froedtert Health, the Medical College of Wisconsin, Ministry Health Care and Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare.

Integrated Health Network recently signed an agreement with Waukesha-based FlagshipSailsRx to be the proprietary network and care model for Ownership Rewards, a self-funded health care plan for employers with 20 or more employees. Through the plan, small employers will now have access to IHN’s broad network of health care resources. Key features of Ownership Rewards are predictable health care costs and return of unused premium dollars back to the employer.

“We’re pleased that through Ownership Rewards, the services of IHN members will be available to small and medium-size business owners who want to reduce their health care spending and still offer their employees a choice of providers,” said Pruessing. “IHN’s data-driven care model will help improve the quality and efficiency of the care employees and their families receive, leading to lower costs.”

IHN will introduce its care model and other customized solutions for population health management to insurance brokers at a June 24 event in Milwaukee.
