QuadMed expands health care model for employers

Sussex-based QuadMed is launching Corporate Health Suites, a personalized concierge health care service for employers of all sizes.

Corporate Health Suites extends the QuadMed model to a wider base of employers and employees.

Corporate Health Suites require as little as 500 square feet and are staffed by a dedicated onsite QuadMed health care professional with a nursing background who works closely with employees to determine health goals and coordinate care. Each QuadMed Corporate Health Suite is equipped with secure telemedicine capabilities to facilitate access to a full multi-disciplinary team of offsite QuadMed providers via real-time video or other advanced communications. Employees can also take advantage of telemedicine capabilities while away from the workplace.

“QuadMed has a well-earned reputation as an innovator in workplace health solutions,” said Tim Dickman, president of QuadMed. “Our onsite health clinics have helped employers around the country reduce healthcare costs while increasing quality of care. Corporate Health Suites fulfill an unmet need by extending those benefits to employers with smaller employee populations or distributed workforces.”

Dickman said convenience is a key element of the new on-site clinics.

“Corporate Health Suites allow for maximum flexibility in receiving care regardless of an employee’s physical location,” Dickman said. “By providing accessible, high-quality, cost-effective health and wellness services – both in-person and through the use of technology – QuadMed Corporate Health Suites can help save downstream healthcare costs by keeping employees healthy and chronic conditions under control.”

To help employers monitor the impact of their Corporate Health Suite, QuadMed provides a balanced scorecard that tracks performance indicators in population health management, clinical effectiveness, operational efficiency and economic value.

QuadMed is a division of Quad/Graphics Inc. The QuadMed model was the focus of a recent BizTimes cover story.
