The Public Policy Forum will present the results of “Give and You Will Receive,” an analysis of nonprofit revenue trends and charitable giving in greater Milwaukee, on Tuesday, Aug. 26.
The event will take place from 8 to 11 a.m. at the Milwaukee Center for Independence (MCFI) Conference Center, 2020 W. Wells St.
Rob Henken, president of the Public Policy Forum, will present the findings of the agency’s new report on the local nonprofit sector.
A panel discussion will follow Henken’s presentation. The discussion will focus on the changing landscape of nonprofit funding – and what it means for people in need of services in the community. The panel, which will be moderated by BizTimes executive editor Steve Jagler, will include: Paula Penebaker, president and CEO of the YWCA; Andy Holman of Ritz Holman; Sherrie Tussler, executive director of Hunger Task Force; Salli Martyniak of Forward Community Investments; and David Buckholdt of Marquette University’s Trinity Fellowship program for graduate students pursuing nonprofit careers.
