The former Bavarian Inn building in Glendale will reopen April 26 as the Bavarian Bierhaus. The new restaurant will feature a 15-barrel brewery, beer hall, dining room, tap room and banquet hall.

The facility is owned by Brauhaus Milwaukee LLC. and the brew master is Nate Bahr, a former Lakefront Brewery brewer, who is planning to make more than 2,000 barrels of beer a year.
The 15-acre Bavarian Inn property includes three soccer fields and Heidelberg Park, where Oktoberfest festivities are held each year during the four weekends following Labor Day.
