Product development firm to move from Thiensville to Walker’s Point

TESLA Product Development LLC, an outsourced engineering and design firm, today is moving from Thiensville to a 3,500-square-foot space at 160 S. 2nd St. in Milwaukee’s Walker’s Point neighborhood.

The company was founded in 2009 and its majority owner is Matt Trotter, former director of engineering and marketing for New Berlin-based EMTEQ.
“We are excited for the new opportunities our location will bring to be closer to Caterpillar and P&H Mining, as well as all of the Fifth Ward water (technology business) development,” Trotter said.
Design Fugitives LLC, a small design firm, will share the space with TESLA. Design Fugitives is moving from a building at the northeast corner of South First Street and East Becher Street.
TESLA has three employees and Design Fugitives has four.
