Produce stand opens at Milwaukee Public Market

Commission Row Produce, a new venture by Nehring’s Family Markets co-owners John and Anne Nehring, this week opened its new produce stand in the Milwaukee Public Market in the city’s Historic Third Ward.

The Nehring’s own V. Richard’s Bakery & Deli in Brookfield, Sendik’s on Oakland in Shorewood and G. Groppi Food Market in Milwaukee’s Bay View neighborhood.

“There are few, if any, retail locations in the Historic Third Ward that sell fresh produce,” said Paul Schwartz, spokesman for the Public Market. “If there’s anybody in this city who knows produce, it’s the Nehrings. We expect them to do extremely well with the space.”
