Potawatomi Bingo Casino will honor six individuals as part of its Champions for Change program. The individuals will be honored for their commitment to social justice later in August.
Honorees for the Lifelong Commitment to Justice Award are, Ross Draegert and Dr. Robert Starshak, for their quest for fairness in the workplace, Juli Kaufmann for her work creating sustainable jobs and development, and Sabrina Bryant for her work leading animal welfare organizations. H. Fisk Johnson, the Chairman and CEO of S.C. Johnson & Son is being honored with the David Schwartz Business Humanitarian Award.
Milwaukee County Supervisor David Bowen is being honored with the Future of Change Award. Supervisor Bowen, though newly elected, has been a nationally recognized leader in empowing minority youth.
