The Forest County Potawatomi tribe will hold a groundbreaking ceremony on July 12 to celebrate the start of construction of a 20-story, 382-room hotel next to its Potawatomi Bingo Casino in the Menomonee Valley in Milwaukee.
Actual construction work for the $150 million project will start within a few days of the groundbreaking ceremony. It will take about two years to build the hotel. The hotel will be joined to the casino by a two-story connecting structure. The project also includes a four-level, 480 stall parking structure that will be built directly to the east of the existing parking structures south of the casino. Minneapolis-based Cuningham Group is the architect for the project.
