Rodney Ferguson served as the casino’s chief financial officer from 2013 to 2015 before taking a job in Virginia. He has more than 30 years of experience in a variety of leadership positions both in and out of the gaming industry.

“We’re so pleased to welcome Rodney back into leadership at Potawatomi Hotel & Casino,” said Harold “Gus” Frank, Chairman of the Forest County Potawatomi Executive Council. “Rodney not only brings a wealth of experience in tribal gaming to the position, but has an intimate knowledge of the operations here in Milwaukee, which will serve the property very well.”

Prior to his most recent stint with Potawatomi Hotel & Casino, Ferguson served as CEO of Spirit Mountain Casino in Grand Ronde, Ore. He has also served as general manager at the Isleta Casino & Resort in Albuquerque, N.M

Ferguson is a certified public accountant with a bachelor of science in accounting from Virginia State University.

On April 21, the Potawatomi announced that General Manager Mike Goodrich had resigned after 14 years and Hartford Shegonee had been named general manager and chief executive officer of the hotel and casino, effective immediately.
