Point Burger Bar says it plans to hire more than 100 people for the restaurant it plans to open at W229 N1400 Westwood Dr. in Pewaukee.

The original Point Burger Bar opened last year at 10950 W. Good Hope Road on the far northwest side of Milwaukee.

Point Burger Bar will host a job fair at its new Pewaukee location on Saturday, Nov. 5, from noon to 4 p.m. The job openings include managers, bartenders, servers, kitchen and support staff.

The original Point Burger Bar is at 10950 W. Good Hope Road on the far northwest side of Milwaukee.

“For months, we have been searching for the right spot for our second location. The moment we saw the Pewaukee location, we knew this was where we wanted to be,” said Brian Ward, owner of Point Burger Bar. “Based on our experience at the Good Hope Road location, we foresee great things for Point Burger Bar here in Pewaukee.”

The Pewaukee location, in a former American TV & Appliance store, will be an 18,000-square-foot restaurant, with a 5,000-square-foot game room, a large viewing deck overlooking the Veloce Race Track and an exterior patio seating over 150 customers.

Ward said a key part of the restaurant’s success has been having the right staff in place.

“Having a motivated, friendly and dependable staff is key,” said Ward. “Experience is great, but I’m just as happy to find someone with a great attitude and desire to learn. If the willingness is there, we can teach anyone to excel at any of the jobs we have to offer. Many of the staff who opened our Good Hope Road location three years ago are still with us today, because we continue to recognize their efforts, offer great pay and advancement opportunities not usually found in the service industry.”
