Pleasant Prairie industrial building planned for Taiwan-based company

CenterPoint WisPark Land Company LLC, a joint venture of Milwaukee-based Wispark LLC and Oak Brook, Ill.-based CenterPoint Properties, plan to build a 471,403-square-foot industrial building in Pleasant Prairie for Taiwan-based Ta Chen International Inc.

Ta Chen is a distributor of stainless steel, aluminum and nickel alloy products. The company currently has eight warehouses serving the U.S. market. The Pleasant Prairie location will serve the Chicago and Milwaukee markets.

The building will be located on 26 acres of vacant land north of 109th Street between 80th and 88th avenues in the LakeView Corporate Park in Pleasant Prairie. It will have 10,489 square feet of office space. The rest will be industrial space.

The Pleasant Prairie Plan Commission this week approved preliminary site and operational plans for the building.
