EMCO Chemical Distributors Inc. is planning a 62,000-square-foot addition to its facility in LakeView Corporate Park in Pleasant Prairie.
The company, which relocated to Wisconsin from Illinois in 2011, is not planning to add to its 100-member workforce, but needs the space for warehousing purposes, according to a press release from the village.
The addition will be constructed on the north side of the building, located at 8601 95th St.
The new space will house chemical materials. Twelve new docks will also be built along the east side of the building.
The Pleasant Prairie Plan Commission approved site and operational plans this week.
