Pleasant Prairie building sold for $47 million

Built in 2001 for S.C. Johnson

Exeter Property Group, a real estate investment management firm based in the Philadelphia area purchased an 891,567-square-foot building on a 51-acre site in Pleasant Prairie from Oak Brook, Illinois-based CenterPoint Properties Trust for $47.1 million, according to state records.

Located in the in LakeView Corporate Park at 9800 72nd Ave., the building was built in 2001 by Milwaukee-based Wispark LLC for Racine-based manufacturer, S.C. Johnson. The building was originally 603,600 square feet and later expanded.

Exeter representatives could not be reached for comment. According to the company’s website, it specializes in the acquisition, development, leasing, and management of industrial and related business park properties across the United States and Europe.
