Pharmacy students get ‘coated’

Students at Concordia University Mequon’s School of Pharmacy began classes earlier this week. Prior to classes beginning students participated in a White Coat Ceremony where student’s were ‘coated’ by their faculty advisor and required to take the “Oath of a Pharmacist.”  “This signifies the beginning of a student’s path in the profession of pharmacy,” said Lesley Luehrs, director of student affairs for the School of Pharmacy.

The School of Pharmacy building is currently under construction on CUW’s Mequon campus and is expected to be completed by next summer in time for the 2011 fall semester.
