Peterson named Milwaukee Bar Association president

David Peterson, shareholder at Milwaukee-based Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren s.c., has been elected president of the Milwaukee Bar Association.

Peterson has served on the board of directors for the MBA for many years, and has also held the president-elect and vice president roles.

He works in the litigation practice in Reinhart’s Waukesha office, and specializes in disputes involving commercial litigation, environmental remediation and product liability. Peterson also works on tax assessment valuation matters and corporate governance disputes. He has many years of trial, mediation and arbitration experience.

“This is a well-deserved honor for Dave, who has dedicated years of hard work and leadership to the MBA,” said Jerome Janzer, chief executive officer of Reinhart. “Dave continues our firm’s long tradition of service to the MBA. We applaud his efforts and the efforts of all our attorneys who give back to the profession and our community.”

The MBA was established in 1858, making it the fifth-oldest bar association in the country. It aids in the administration of justice, promotes high standards of learning and professional conduct and provides opportunities for law-related community service and collegiality in the legal community.
