Randy Winkler joined Community Financial Services, a division of Merchants & Manufacturers, New Berlin, as a financial officer in the Brookfield office of Lincoln State Bank. Waukesha State Bank, Waukesha, named Heather Pfalz bank manager for the bank’s Sussex branch, which is currently under construction. Pfalz joined Waukesha State Bank in 1997 and currently serves as bank manager of the Oconomowoc branch.

The Milwaukee office of Northern Trust, Chicago, promoted Matthew Peterson to senior vice president and chief fiduciary officer for Wisconsin trust services. Peterson has been with Northern Trust for more than 22 years. He most recently served as a vice president of trust administration in Milwaukee.

Building & Construction

The Brookfield office of M. A. Mortenson, Minneapolis, hired Chris Parent as project engineer; Jason Proctor as field engineer; and Richard Swift as a superintendent. Prior to joining Mortenson, Parent served as assistant superintendent for Hunt Construction Group, Scottsdale, Ariz. Proctor previously worked for the firm’s energy group in Minneapolis.

Briohn Building Corp., Brookfield, promoted Donald Tendick, Jr. to vice president of sales and marketing. Tendick joined Briohn Building in 2005 and most recently served as director of business development.

Patrick Faust joined Creative Constructors, Menomonee Falls, as a project manager and estimator. Faust holds a degree in construction management from the Milwaukee School of Engineering.

Margaret Ellibee joined Waukesha County Technical College (WCTC) as vice president for strategic effectiveness and advancement. Prior to joining WCTC, Ellibee served as director of secondary career and technical education for the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction. She holds a doctoral degree in educational administration from UW-Madison.

Jay Walt, vice president of Automatic Entrances of Wisconsin, Waukesha, will serve as chairman of the board of directors for the Waukesha Education Foundation. Betsy Crosswaite, business manager for the Waukesha County Department of Public Works, will serve as vice chair, and Jayne Langer, a Waukesha resident, will serve as treasurer.

R.A. Smith & Associates, Brookfield, named Steve Miazga, Tracy Farrand and Marty Worden associates in the firm. Miazga joined R.A. Smith in 2002 and currently serves as business development manager. Farrand and Worden serve as group managers of land development services for National Survey & Engineering, a division of R.A. Smith & Associates. Farrand has been with the firm for 10 years. Dr. Laura Franck, pediatrician, joined Medical Associates Health Centers, Menomonee Falls and the medical staff of Community Memorial Hospital, Menomonee Falls. Prior to joining Medical Associates, Franck held a chief residency position at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Wauwatosa.

Madison Medical Affiliates, Milwaukee, hired Dr. Ervin Szoke in the endocrinology department and Dr. Srihari Ramanujam in the gastroenterology department. Szoke and Ramanujam will practice from the Mequon office and the Cathedral Square office in downtown Milwaukee.

The Medical College of Wisconsin, Wauwatosa, appointed Dr. Gary Seabrook chief of the division of vascular surgery. Seabrook joined the staff of the Medical College in 1989. He currently serves as professor of surgery at the college and as medical director of the vascular diagnostic laboratories at Froedtert Hospital, Wauwatosa and the Zablocki VA Medical Center, Milwaukee.

Hospitality

Potawatomi Bingo Casino, Milwaukee, promoted Kristina Potrykus to assistant marketing director and hired Boyd Reese as director of slot operations. Potrykus has been with Potawatomi Bingo Casino for more than 10 years and previously served in the marketing and table games departments. Prior to joining Potawatomi Bingo Casino, Reese worked for Harrah’s, Las Vegas, for 11 years.
