Banking and Finance
Park Bank, Milwaukee, promoted Kim Schaffer to first vice president and market team manager and hired Dan Hansen as vice president of commercial banking. Schaffer previously served as a senior commercial banker. Hansen has 14 years of experience and previously served as vice president and manager of business banking at North Shore Bank, Brookfield, and vice president of commercial banking for Johnson Bank, Racine.
Wauwatosa Holdings, Wauwatosa, the holding company for Wauwatosa Savings Bank, promoted Douglas Gordon to chief operating officer and John Perry to investor relations officer. Gordon will continue to serve as director of the holding company and as president and chief operating officer of the bank. Perry will also serve as chief marketing officer of Wauwatosa Savings Bank and as vice president of community and public relations for Wauwatosa Holdings.
Ben Udell joined the Milwaukee office of Wells Fargo, San Francisco, as sales development manager for Wisconsin and Michigan. Udell most recently served as a financial consultant for Wells Fargo Funds. He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from UW-Milwaukee.
Sean Schelfout joined the Waukesha office of Amcore Bank, Rockford, Ill., as vice president and commercial relationship manager. Schelfout has eight years of banking and financial experience and previously worked in commercial lending for TCF Bank, Wayzata, Minn. He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from UW-La Crosse.

Mandel Group, Milwaukee, hired Richard Lincoln as senior vice president of development and promoted Phillip Aiello and Mark Hopkins, to senior development managers. Lincoln most recently served as senior vice president for Irgens Development Partners, Milwaukee. Aiello has been with Mandel Group for four years. Hopkins joined the firm in 2005.
CG Schmidt, Milwaukee, promoted C. Thomas Pagel to assistant project manager. Pagel joined CG Schmidt in 2004 and most recently served as a project engineer. He holds a bachelor’s degree in construction management from UW-Stout.
Bret Woodland joined the Milwaukee office of M. A. Mortenson, Minneapolis, as an assistant project manager. Woodland previously worked in the Minneapolis office of M.A. Mortenson. He holds a bachelor’s degree in construction management from UW-Stout.

Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, Wauwatosa, promoted Dr. Brian Shames to medical director of pediatric transplantation and hired Dr. Michael Mitchell as a pediatric cardiothoracic surgeon for the Herma Heart Center at Children’s Hospital. Shames serves as an assistant professor of transplant surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Wauwatosa, and as an abdominal transplant surgeon at Children’s Hospital and Froedtert Hospital, Wauwatosa. Mitchell also joined the faculty at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Wauwatosa, as an assistant professor of cardiothoracic surgery.
Cathleen Trebby joined The Lutheran Home, one of two campuses of LutheranLiving Services, Wauwatosa, as director of development. Trebby previously served as executive director of the Elmbrook Memorial Hospital Community Foundation, Brookfield. She holds a bachelor’s degree from UW-Madison.
Community Memorial Hospital, Menomonee Falls, hired four doctors. Dr. Thomas Heinrich joined the medical staff at the hospital in psychiatry and will practice from the Medical College of Wisconsin, Wauwatosa; Dr. Natalia Markelova joined the staff in pathology and will practice from the Medical College; Dr. Michael Savitt specializes in cardiothoracic surgery and will practice from the Midwest Heart Surgery Institute, Milwaukee, and Dr. Anil Warrier specializes in rheumatology and will practice from Advanced Healthcare, Milwaukee.

Nikki Odom joined the Cross Law Firm, Milwaukee, as an associate attorney. Odom focuses her practice on employment and small business. She holds a law degree from Marquette Law School.
Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren, Milwaukee, hired Diana Goodman, Christine McAllister and Tiffany Roepsch as associates in the Milwaukee office and Robert Habich as an associate in the Waukesha office. Atwater holds a degree in journalism and mass communications from UW-Milwaukee. Piatt previously served as a development specialist for WUWM but left the company in 1997. She holds a bachelor’s degree in social work from UW-Stevens Point.
Kalmbach Publishing, Waukesha, hired Hazel Wheaton as editor of "Art Jewelry" magazine and promoted Matthew Usher to editor of "FineScale Modeler" magazine. Wheaton most recently served as managing editor of "Lapidary Journal," Haverford, Pa. Usher joined Kalmbach in 1996 and most recently served as senior editor of "FineScale Modeler."
