Michelle Mueller, information technology database administrator at Mount Mary College in Milwaukee has been elected to the advisory board of Boston-based Jenzabar EX. Jenzabar is a provider of enterprise software, services and strategies exclusively for higher education. During her three-year term, Mueller will serve as a liaison between system users and software developers, advising Jenzabar on product improvements, system enhancements, service, support and other business related issues.

Engineering

The Milwaukee office of GRAEF recently added Peter Ferretti, GISP as a GIS professional. He has more than eight years of GIS experience mapping, coordinating large-scale GPS projects, managing data, and developing custom applications for end users.

Health Care

Advanced Pain Management has added Christa Amundson to its staff as a nurse practitioner. Amundson will be seeing patients at United Medical Center in Milwaukee.

The Pfister Hotel, Milwaukee, has named Anthony DeFelippis as its new director of operations. He has about 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry.

Shady Grove Associates and Horizon Hotels Limited has hired Greg Rizzi as general manager of the Wyndham Milwaukee Airport Hotel. Rizzi has more than 40 years of experience in the hospitality industry. He previously served as general manager at the La Jolla Shores Hotel and the Best Western Inn by the Sea Hotel in La Jolla, Calif.

Interior Design

Creative Business Interiors Inc., Milwaukee, added Martha Korinko to the firm’s accounting department. Her responsibilities will include support of project management accounting and data entry through financial projects.

Legal Services

Nicholas DiUlio joined Godfrey, Braun & Frazier, LLP, Milwaukee, as an associate attorney concentrating in litigation, business law and estate planning.

Adrienne Olson joined Quarles & Brady LLP’s Milwaukee office as an attorney in the corporate services group. As part of the firm’s Government Affairs Compliance team, Olson will focus her practice on assisting corporations with lobbying, government affairs and political law compliance issues, campaign finance, ethics, procurement and anticorruption matters at the federal level and in all 50 states.

Godfrey & Kahn, S.C., Milwaukee, appointed Nicholas Wahl as the firm’s next managing partner. Wahl succeeds Rick Bliss who will lead the firm’s client relations efforts after serving 15 years as managing partner. The appointment will take effect at the firm’s annual shareholder meeting in January. The firm also recently announced that Tom Nipko, law firm administrator and Mary Koshollek, law librarian were the recipients of The Wisconsin Law Journal’s 2010 Unsung Hero award. Tom Dressel, director of information technology received honorable mention.

Manufacturing

Racine-based Ruud Lighting Inc. recently promoted Karin Henkes to vice president of business operations, Kevin Orth to vice president of sales and Steve Waters to vice president of finance and accounting.

Randy Breske, vice president of Stay-Lite Lighting in Pewaukee, was recently honored with the Lumina Award at The International Association of Lighting Management Companies 57th Annual Convention and Trade Show. Breske received his second Lumina Award for his special merit, commitment, loyalty and dedication to the leadership of the organization and project recognition that benefits the lighting industry.

DCI Cheese Company, Richfield, recently hired Tina Dozier as a help desk coordinator, Jim Matelski as IT infrastructure manager, Joe Scheske as senior portfolio supply planner and Rick Vitlip as quality analyst/auditor. Chris Sandretti was promoted to general manager of the company’s Green Bay operation. Cathy King’s role has been expanded to include the supervision of all product merchandising training.

Nonprofit

The March of Dimes Wisconsin Chapter hired Maureen Kartheiser as its new state director of program services. She most recently worked with Pewaukee-based ProHealth Care as a project coordinator for women’s services supporting program development, physician recruitment and retention, and business planning for women’s and children’s services.

Kristin Occhetti, an associate in Quarles & Brady LLP’s Milwaukee office, has been appointed to the associate board of the Zoological Society of Milwaukee. Occhetti is a member of the Firm’s Trusts & Estates group focusing her practice on estate planning and wealth preservation strategies for individuals, small business owners and professionals.

The Rogers Memorial Hospital Foundation, Oconomowoc, hired Matthias Schueth to serve as the organization’s executive vice president. Schueth spent more than 13 years as the press spokesman and vice president of communications and development at Caritas Germany, a catastrophe relief organization for third world countries. He also worked as the director of development and annual programs at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin.

Professional Athletics

The Milwaukee Brewers have promoted Jim Bathey to vice president of consumer marketing and Aleta Mercer to vice president of entertainment and broadcasting. Bathey has been with the team for nearly 20 years. Mercer joined the organization in 1993 as a broadcasting assistant. The team also promoted four members of its front office staff including: Bob Hallas, senior director of stadium operations; Matt Kenny, senior director of event services; Andrew Pauls, senior director of corporate marketing, and Teddy Werner, senior director of business operations.

Professional Organizations

The Waukesha County Economic Development Corporation (WCEDC) has named Godfrey & Kahn attorney Robert Risch to its board of directors. Risch will help guide the direction of the WCEDC as it moves into its innovation initiative. Risch is a member of Godfrey & Kahn’s Corporate Practice Group and also serves as managing partner of the firm’s Waukesha office location.

Professional Services

MRA–The Management Association, Waukesha, has added Bryan Roessler as the executive director in association management and director of safety services. Most recently Roessler served as the director of the Wisconsin Safety Council, an affiliate of Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce. Roessler has more than 15 years of experience establishing member relations and safety partnerships.

Real Estate

Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage recently added four additional agents to offices in the area. Real estate agents Joel Castillo and Robin Wallingford have joined the downtown Milwaukee office, agent Mike Kwiatkowski has joined the Metro West office located in Brookfield, and agent Aaron Smith has joined the Coldwell Banker Mequon office.

Retail

The Oilerie of Brookfield has promoted Lori Hass to store manager. The Oilerie is an extra virgin olive oil and aged balsamic vinegar tasting bar retail store.

Utility Services

Werner Electric and Supply Company named Dan Ebben vice president of electrical supplies and Eric Meyer as the new product manager of electrical supplies. Ebben has worked for Werner Electric for more than 14 years and has 23 years of industry experience.
